Richard B. Cheney, a distinguished public servant and businessman, is vice president. Cheney was the first to accept the Republican Vice Presidential nomination in 2007, stated that his hopes were high for being under a President who can work across political lines and cooperate with political adversaries through goodwill and a shared objective. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When he was 13 years old, Bruce moved with his parents to Casper (in the US state of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father was Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's the district for soil conservation.
