Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy of Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor as well as a teacher at school helped and encouraged her initial passion for drama as well as theatre. Her initial dream of becoming a specialist in monkeys was replaced by a desire to learn about drama and theater. The actress became famous as an actress in her early years and with enormous success. After completing her studies, she was able to be a part of Jeunes Premiers, a French TV talent-scouting programme which was run by Canal+. There she won the award for Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to begin her professional acting career. Tautou was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and was a student there from the age of a child she has since renounced her Catholic education. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. She pursued a modelling career in addition to her acting work and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. She also has a serious photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work during the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrities, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her emergence on the scene in the film Amelie. There are also several photographs that show herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big role in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office film that received acclaim at award ceremonies around all over the world. It's also the biggest French film in the history of French language to be made on the US. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou went on to star in numerous films, including British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
