Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents were a Russian as well as a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as a Russian mother. She choreographed an 11-year-old performance which led to her being a German television appearance as an Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into an energetic Indian dancer. She graduated from high school within New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. In her high school years, she took classes in acting at HB but left for improv classes at Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. Her parents were a Hindu and Indian father Ghanshan K Mahendru. She also had a Russian mother Olga. The family moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character in Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
